March 2017 🎉

Blogs seem to be a dying art.  Not that Manic Mondays was ever art.  I'm still documenting our road life because one day, I might want to reminisce.

---------------

Back in March, we had a few shows.  I look back at pictures and cannot get over what a difference 7 months makes!  Time is a funny thing.  Some days I want it to speed up.  Other days I want it to slow down.  But, it remains steady.

We made the quick drive down to Huntsville, AL to lead Sunday worship and then have an evening concert at Life's Journey Church.

We stayed in an amazing home with some sweet people.  Oliver still calls it the log house with all the cars.

She had kept all her sons' cars from when they were little.  She even let Oliver take one home!

Trying to practice our worship set quietly ;-)

Sunday morning was great and people were kind and we had Mexican food, which I feel like just goes well with Sunday.  What is that???

And then it was nap time.  This one.  After a rough night, I thought she's be so sleepy.  Nope.

But she finally gave it up and just look at her!

It was a fun night and we hope to go back with our new record.  Also, I'm a fan of wood and lightbulbs as backdrops.

We went home for a bit then made our way to Allen, TX for a Known Legacy night.

Stopped in Texarkana...

When we got to Allen, the front desk clerk (is it a clerk?) had a gift for us.  Snacks, stuffed animals, water bottles, oh my!  Incredibly thoughtful.

Sunday morning, was an early one, and of course they were sound asleep.  Why does that happen?  It's a law of nature.  Just like babies pooping in a fresh diaper.

I can't remember why we went to Salado, but we did.  Oliver was complaining of a sore throat and I don't mess around with strep.  I took him to the ER and he threw up in the car on the way.  I literally had FOUR wipes, some antibacterial hand gel, and a WATM shirt.

After a 2 hour ER wait, he didn't have strep.  Yay!  But he did throw up again on the way back to my parents' house.  Boo.

Trent is such a good daddy.  He cleaned and scrubbed that car seat for probably an hour.  Took it all apart.  Bless him.  He doesn't handle throw up well so, BOY, did he Man Up.
